Like I said before, it’s my favorite month of the year. I think it’s comes from me being a child. First of all, I love the cold weather, all the layers of clothing, fires and hot chocolate! Then there’s the decorations. Halloween is fun and Easter is just a horrible color choice, but Christmas, Christmas is different. I’ll be honest though, I CANNOT stand Christmas music. My mom always decorated for Christmas. There is a collection of such old treasures that are throughout the house that have survived several moves and four children. This year it seems like I am way more excited about Christmas than normal. It makes me feel comforted even if it’s not my home.
There are some great Santas that have their spot and childhood ornaments are still there, on their limbs. The only thing I miss is having that real Christmas tree. But if we just sprayed the fake tree to smell like a spruce. HA! We could spruce things up a bit!!
